Capac Community Schools is proud to announce our participation in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). From June 16th through July 24, 2025, free meals will be available to all children up to age 18.
Meal Schedule: Monday - Friday
Breakfast: 7:30 AM – 8:15 AM
Lunch: 11:45 AM – 12:30 PM

Enrollment in high-quality Pre-K is now open for 4-year-olds for the 2025-26 school year! Children who attend Pre-K start kindergarten ready to learn, and Michigan’s Pre-K for All helps ensure families have access at NO COST. Capac Elementary and Jr.-Sr. High School will have silent dismissals today to honor and remember our country's Service Members who gave the ultimate sacrifice, in remembrance of Memorial Day. Students will silently exit the front of the building as taps are played near our flag.

The Blue Water Building Trades Career Fair is May 8th at 9 am, at Goodells County Park.
Over 1,500 students will attend from high schools across Michigan’s Thumb Area; lunch provided!
100+ construction industry professionals showcasing dozens of in-demand careers.
Interactive exhibits and hands-on learning; some employers offering on-the-spot interviews!
Sign up at the Jr.-Sr. High School office and get a permission slip from Ms. Phillips. Permission slips will be accepted back until Thursday at 8 am.

Summer Grocery Benefits for Kids
SUN Bucks is the new name for the Summer EBT grocery benefit. Eligible families will receive $120 per child to purchase groceries over the summer.
Once you’re enrolled, SUN Bucks will be automatically added to your SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) account or you will be issued a separate electronic benefit transfer (EBT) card. Note: Families can receive SUN Bucks on top of other nutrition benefits like SNAP and WIC (Women, Infants, and Children.)

Capac Elementary School will hold a Kindergarten Information Night on Thursday, March 6th, from 4-5:00 pm. All incoming Kindergarteners and Developmental Kindergarteners for the fall of 2025 are welcome. Come meet the Principal, and teachers and enjoy some refreshments. Learn about the school, how you can enroll your child, and sign up for Kindergarten Round-Up and Signing Day.
