Spanish II (Prerequisite: Spanish I) (2 semesters)
Students continue with the Spanish program concentrating on present vs.. past tense, reading short stories, writing and speaking. Once the course is completed a student will be able to read, write, speak and understand advanced Spanish based on the ACTFL guidelines.
We will continue with grammar, vocabulary and culture using the Aventura 2 book. We will also continue with "El Cuarto Misterioso" and Familia Miranda. Students will work with the interactive series "Vida Loca".
¡Nuestras piñatas! Students start making them before Spring Break and it is voted on which one will be broken with all of the surprises that await them.

Students needed to honor Hispanic cultural iconics by creating an "ofrenda" using information that they have researched. Notice the use of skulls, pictures, candles, items that relate to the person that they are honoring.
