There has been a slight change to our 1/2 day schedule for all students. At the high school it will now be:


Half Day Schedule:


1st period: 8:00 a.m. to 8:35 a.m.

2nd period 8:39 a.m. to 9:09 a.m.

3rd period: 9:13 a.m. to 9:43 a.m.

4th period: 9:47 a.m. to 10:17 a.m.

5th period: 10:21a.m. to 10:51 a.m.

6th period 10:55 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.


(Dismissing students 15 minutes earlier than in the past.)




Progress Reports

The high school will be mailing home progress reports ONCE per marking period this year. The first one will not be until the first week of October. As before, you are able to check on their classroom work on Zangle Parent Connect. If you are not set up with your passwork, please see Mrs. Coreena Malburg in the high school office.

Please note that there is no school for students on November 4. It is a full day of professional development for all staff.



Capac High School Parents: Meg LaLonde, Capac's College Adviser, and SCCRESA KnowHow2Go are hosting a great event this November! "Parents, Kids, and College" is geared toward freshman, sophomores, juniors and their parents. Come get an overview of the college search process and leave with a free handbook to guide you through the next few years! The date for this event is Wednesday, November 19 from 6:30 - 8pm, and will be held in the Media Center at the high school. There will be pizza and beverages provided - no need to worry about dinner! Parent/Teacher conferences are set.


  1. The fall conferences will be held on Thursday, November 13. The afternoon session is 12:30 - 3:00 pm and the evening session is 5:30 - 8:00 pm. We encourage all parents to attend. Your students' report card will be available to pick up before conferences that Thursday. No appointments are necessary at the high school.



Dates to remember:

Our Thanksgiving break is set for November 26, 27, & 28. There is NO school on those days, with classes resuming at our normal schedule on Monday, December 1, 2014.


Our Christmas break will begin at the end of the school day on Friday, December 19 and classes will resume on Monday, January 5, 2015.


First semester exams will be held on January 22 & 23, 2015. Those report cards will be mailed home the following week.
