In order to minimize the number of school days necessary to be added beyond June 12th, Capac Community Schools has scheduled Monday, April 21, 2014 as a regularly scheduled school day.
NOTE: This is the Monday immediately following Easter which was originally part of the second portion of the split spring break.
Attention all 9th, 10th or 11th grade students
St. Clair County KnowHow2Go is sponsoring a trip for you and a parent to tour the Saginaw Valley State University campus on next Thursday, April 24th. You will have an opportunity to tour buildings, meet students and staff, and have an opportunity to ask questions. Transportation is provided. The bus will leave at 8:00 AM from RESA in Marysville and return at 3:30 PM. ONE PARENT MUST BE ABLE TO ATTEND THE TOUR WITH YOU! Slots are available on a first come, first served basis! Please see Mrs. Hutchinson for more information, or sign up on the sheet on her door.
Take Your Child to College Day
KH2GO is offering college tours again this spring. Our first tour will be at Saginaw Valley State University on April 24th. Registration is open and we would like to offer your students the opportunity to attend. Here are the details of the trip:

FREE Practice ACT/SAT Sessions from Princeton Review for ALL
Freshmen and Sophomores!
The dates have been set for Princeton Review's annual Spring Free Practice ACT and SAT! These give sophomores and freshmen the chance to experience a full length practice ACT and/or SAT. They will all receive detailed, individualized diagnostic score reports that outline strengths and areas of opportunity. This is a great way for students to study over the summer and get a head start on their test preparation.
The Free Practice ACT test will be held on Saturday, May 10th in nine locations, all from 9am-1pm: Ann Arbor * Birmingham * Bloomfield Hills * East Lansing * Grand Rapids * Grosse Pointe * Novi * Rochester * Toledo
The Free Practice SAT test will be held on Saturday, May 3rd in nine locations, all from 9am-1pm: Ann Arbor * Birmingham * Bloomfield Hills * East Lansing * Grand Rapids * Grosse Pointe * Novi * Rochester * Toledo
Following the tests, we are holding a Scores Back and Strategy Session on Saturday, May 17th from 11am-1pm. Students will receive their scores as well as learn strategies for each test from one of our high-scoring instructors. Parents are welcome to attend! Blue Water Middle College Learning Opportunity
Capac High School students will now have the opportunity to earn 2 free years college credits while in high school. Students and parents wanting to learn more about this new, free, 3-year program created by St. Clair County RESA, St. Clair County Community College, and the Capac, Yale, Memphis and Port Huron School Districts are invited to viisit the following website: www.sccresa.org/bwmc
