GSRP is Michigan's state-funded preschool program four-year-old children with factors that may place them at risk. The program is designed to ensure every child is prepared to thrive when they enter kindergarten.

The St. Clair County Regional Educational Service Agency (RESA) coordinates the consortium of Great Start Readiness Programs (GSRP) throughout the county. The school district does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, age, religion, height, weight, or marital status in its programs and acclivities. In addition, arrangements can be made to ensure the lack of English language proficiency is not a barrier to admission or participation.
